Mahekal Beach Front Resort & Spa Playa del Carmen

For a 4 star hotel everything was awesome, I liked to be here. Booked a room with character. This venue was located in a central area near all the restaurants and shops, 5th Avenue and the Cozumel ferry.

We liked staff and rooms, every detail required. Overall comfortable stay in this hotel.

I loved exceptional staff and location. The room was spotless with two beds and had climate control, an individual safe and a seating area. The beach restaurant for dinner and the swim-up bar.

Everything here was great, I would stay here again. The guest room was gorgeous, had an iron, a work desk and a sitting area. The staff was polite when needed. The location was stunning, for example, Aquarium was at a near distance from the hotel...

I loved staff and drinks, as well as every other detail. Lots of supplies in the room: climate control, a seating area and a writing table. There were main shopping street and a shopping street around the hotel. I found Hola Bangkok within walking distance of the property where I had supper.

The hotel is relaxing, has exceptional views and unbeatable location adjacent to restaurants, the beach, the construction.

It has cool, stunning setting, just next door to pedestrian zone with shops, the sea, all the restaurants and shops and beautiful beach.

Sympathetic staff, brilliant service, warm room. Absolutely brilliant view of river. The breakfast choice was different with cheese, eggs, bacon, breads and fresh fruit. Complementary drinks, very good wifi were a nice surprise👍

It was moderately priced, compared to other opera hotels. The hotel was fairly clean. Amazing rocky beach was near the venue. Charming area. Exceptional service too. Moreover, I parked at the outside.

I visited Playa del Carmen for nightlife and had a VERY PLEASANT experience at this hotel. So many excellant options for breakfast, such as fresh fruit, omelet, eggs, cheese and fresh bread. Main shopping street and a shopping street were right next door.

The hotel was fairly clean with practical location and lovely rooms. Our room had a lovely bed and a pleasant view. The staff - lively and was always available with the requests. Wonderful tea and coffee in the pizza bar, secure parking place.

Rich breakfast, extremely pleasant room, really helpfull staff. Panoramic view, a lovely balcony, amazing bed, too. Amazingly helpful hotel in a super central location. We loved to chill in the nearby club de la cerveza. Pool with the river view was lovely.

Have stayed at this beautifully restored hotel before now and always had special service. The staff was super, the room was bright and functional. The breakfasts here were lovely with many exotic fruits.

Liked it - the place is exotic and suited me fine. Staff were eager to help entire time.

Nice little and pretty clean beach club hotel. The breakfast was simply delicious with lots of exceptional food on offer. Very neat rooms and stunning restaurant. Bottled drinks at swim-up bar, unparalleled service.

We stayed here for 7 nights and we loved our choice. Just average staff, relaxing area and worth every penny view from the room. Magnificent room, comfortable bed and a nice decor. Breakfast was above average with variety of food! Excellent service and a modern restaurant, available onsite. Residential location, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from galeria luis sottil.

We recommend. Professional staff, ok, very clean room. There was a diving school, which was well equipped. Really perfectly located hotel.

Chez Celine is short way from the hotel. Fine base for city trip in Playa del Carmen...
